Our location
The farms Kuhwerder and Waltershagen are situated in the middle of Otjiwarongo and Kalkfeld. From Windhoek you travel on the B1 via Okahandja to Otjiwarongo - app. 245 KM in northerly direction. Turn off - C 38 - 3 KM / C 33 - 32 KM / D 2493 - 11 KM up to the farmstead.
Non-stop flight from domestic airport
Four times a week Air NAMIBIA connects between Frankfurt and Windhoek and twice between London - Gatwick and return.
LTU offers similar flights once a week between Munich and once a week between Dusseldorf and Windhoek and return.
All flights are non - stop and duration approximately 10 hours.Time difference between Europe and Namibia - 1 Hour - no jetlag. Furthermore other possibilities excist from other European centres via Johannesburg (South Africa) to Windhoek and return but not advisable if weapons and ammunition
accompany a guest.
How to reach us
By request we let pick you up at the airport and after your stay we let bring you back to the airport. There is also the possibility of booking a rental car in combination with your flight reservation and you drive by yourself. This offer has become greater and cheaper, but it is still quite expensive due to the high risk of damage. Unfortunately, lots of tourists overrate themselves and especially underrate the unpaved roads, the so-called Staubpads. Please note: there is left-hand traffic in the whole country! But if you dare to drive - with a little bit of concentration it is definitely feasible - you can find us as described above (see map).
